5. Legal bases for processing

The data processing is carried out on the following legal bases in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

6. Third-party services

We temporarily determine your approximate location based on your IP address using the IPAPI service when you visit our website. This geolocation is used solely to display relevant local content (e.g., churches in your city) and is neither stored nor used for any other purposes. This service is required for the basic functioning of the platform.

We also use Google Tag Manager, PixelYourSite, WP Statistics, Jetpack, and Hotjar in anonymised mode by default. With the user’s consent, these trackers can be activated in full mode to improve the user experience, for example by analysing clicks, interaction patterns, or engagement with content. No personal data is shared with these services unless the user consents to full tracking.

Please note that personal data may be processed by these third-party services in accordance with their own privacy policies. These include, among others: Google (Analytics, Tag Manager, Google Maps, YouTube), Meta (Facebook Pixel, Ads), Hotjar, Hostinger, Jetpack, IPAPI, and Kadence Forms. Some data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA) under standard contractual clauses or similar safeguards.

7. Data storage

Public data (e.g., church locations, event details) is stored indefinitely as long as it remains publicly accessible and relevant.

Private or contact data is stored as long as the user relationship is active or until a user requests deletion.
